Hair transplantation

This is a surgery that is usually performed in an equipped clinic or operating room, often under local anesthesia, either by cutting a large strip of skin containing hair follicles from the back of the scalp, suturing the resulting wound and dividing this strip into very small units with a small group of hair follicles, or by extracting hair
follicle seedlings. In both cases, small openings are made in the front of the head to implant these units. The patient returns home the same day with medical treatment and instructions from the doctor and a follow-up appointment.
